I have often commented about how beautiful this girl is...
And who better to
capture Mary Motley's beauty on film, than the photographer who knows her best…her dad,
Tim Motley! I saw these photos on
facebook several months back, and this shot, in particular, made an impression
that has lasted in my mind.
I think it’s because this photo encapsulates much of what I know about Mary. Her school years were filled with dancing, cheerleading and playing violin. When I saw it, I thought to myself, “That photo really describes who Mary is”. That’s a great photo, Tim Motley!
I’ve watched Mary grow up. I think her family may have rented her first violin from my music store back when Mary was in the 5th grade J
.
Now she’s off to college.
The days of dance recitals, high school concerts and football games may
be over, but the lessons she learned while dancing, cheering and making music
will serve her well as she continues on in life. As she steps into adulthood, I would venture to say that these lessons will cause her to be encouraging to others, cheering them on as she, herself, lives a creative and expressive life.
This dancing, cheering, music-playing, college-going, beautiful girl’s got Rockin’ Style!
